Nelonen

Nelonen is our main TV channel. Nelonen´s focus is on major Finnish entertainment, international quality series and top movies. Nelonen also produces its own news every day. Varied range of programmes reaches widely different target groups from singles to families, but the focus is on urban 10-44 year old. Nelonen is the second biggest commercial media in Finland.

JIM

Jim is a TV channel focused on entertaining factual content and offers both real-life stories and action entertainment. Jim´s viewership focus on urban adults, both male and female.

- Reaches 2.5 million Finns weekly
- The record in reach in a day 1,459,000 (10+)
- 60 % of the viewers are men and 40 % are women
- Reaches 63 % of the people between 25 – 44 years old
- The most popular programmes in 2009: JIM D: Tsunami (document) and Poliisit (domestic)

Liv

Liv is a TV channel with lifestyle focus. Liv provides inspiration for life and offers feelgood entertainment targeted particularly at 25-44 year old women. In addition to lifestyle programming, Liv also broadcasts series and movies. Programming is based on five distinctive blocks: Home, Me, Relationships, Icons and Series & Movies.

- Reaches 1.7 million Finns weekly
- The record in reach in a day 794,000 (10+)
- 72 % of the viewers are women
- Reaches about half of the women between 25–44 years old every week
- Most popular programmes in 2009: Kumman kaa (domestic), Sex and the City, Inno (domestic), It’s Me or the Dog, 30 minute meals by Rachael Ray

Nelonen Sport

Nelonen Sport is Finland´s only free-to-air sports channel. Sports fans can enjoy the most interesting Finnish leaques and latest international events. The main viewers on both sport channels are men.

- 72 % of the viewers are men
- Reaches 33 % of the people between 25–44 years old

Nelonen Media´s ad-funded channel offering is complemented by the pay-TV channels Nelonen Sport Pro, which brings the viewers the best selection of live sport broadcasts, and KinoTV, which shows movies spiced up with quality comedy and drama series.

 

Nelonen Media radio stations

In addition to the six TV channels, Nelonen Media also operates two strong target audience radio stations. Radio Rock is Finnish leading radio station focusing on rock and has an exceptionally large reash among Finnish men. It has about 800,000 listeners weekly and 63% of them are men. Radio Aalto is a radio station targeted at women in Finland. It has about 400,000 listeners weekly.

Nelonen Media online services

Ruutu.fi is Nelonen Media´s catch-up TV service that brings access to programming content from the different Nelonen Media channels as well as lots of video material related to programmes and news. It has over a million video start-ups at best a week and its growing steadily.

Each channel and station also has a website that deepens the consumer relationship by offering extra programme-related content and popular discussion forums.
